THE music choral group, Vabati vaJehovha, on Saturday received residential stands at the the launch of their 19th album “Rinda Unamate”.

A local businessman and church leader, Charles Takavengwa, handed offer letters of five residential stands to Vabati vaJehovha frontman Richard Magaya.

Overseer Takavengwa of City Life Ministries urged people to support artists with tangible things and fight piracy.

“A number of artists have been forced to abandon their talents due to piracy.

“Tinopinzwa mumweya nenziyo dzeVabati vaJehovha zuva nezuva asi ivo hapana chavanowana nekuda kwe piracy.

“Let us join hands in fighting piracy and preserve our homegrown talents by giving them the support they deserve,” said Overseer Takavengwa.

A number of business people promised to help Vabati vaJehovha by meeting the costs of their music videos.

Baba naAmai Pastor Charles Charamba warmed the stage for the launch of the album and choral groups, which included Chiyedza Chevatendi, Mhondoro Apostles, Mabvazuva and Followers of Christ, supported the launch.

Kanindo music queen, Shantel Sithole, also performed at the launch.
