Exquisite Care Dealership owner Victor Matiyenga has been one of the most popular people in Harare, outside of his biggest client, Wicknell Chivayo.
His dealership is the one that has been supplying Wicknell with top-of-the-range cars, which he gifted to ZANU-PF-affiliated musicians. Some beneficiaries included Nicholas Zakaria, Alick Macheso, Jah Prayzah, Matias Mhere, DJ Fantan, Jah Signal and Sandra Ndebele.
Some say Wicknell Chivayo has reduced some musicians and comedians into beggars who have to prove their loyalty to ZANU-PF just for a car. In all this, Victor has cashed in millions and smiled all the way to the bank.
Prophet Obey Mukanhairi Catches Feelings Over “Go And See Victor”
Because of the free cars powered by Wicknell Chivayo, Zimbos have been jokingly saying, “Go and see Victor”, whenever someone does or says something well. This is because Wicknell says the exact phrase to anyone he spoils with a free car.
Zimbabwean Prophet Obey Mukanhairi has been getting the same compliment whenever he posts. Yesterday, one follower triggered him and he went off. The fan told him to “Go and see Victor”.
The cleric did not take it well. He lashed:
“In as much as you don’t know me, never think I can’t afford a car. I can buy myself a car anywhere, anytime. So please, stop the nonsense of posting Go and see Victor what? Seenzai musangoda mahandouts.”
