COMEDIAN Shatrisha Vibes had a gift of making people laugh and lived in the public domain with his skirts on various social media platforms.

But, in the final days of his life, he was alone — far away from the crowd which used to feast from his jokes.

He endured the pain alone and, on Tuesday evening, he died.

His real name was Wayne Maponga, and Shatrisha Vibes had been quietly battling cancer.

He has been described as one of the most kind-hearted, creative, and supportive comedians in the country.

Shatrisha Vibes was celebrated for his witty and relatable comedy skits, often drawing his inspiration from every day Zimbabwean life and culture.
