No Limits for Firm Faith album launch

Renowned South African-based acapella music outfit, No Limits, will grace Firm Faith’s album launch at 7 Arts Theatre in Harare on November 2.

The album titled “Munesimba” the album’s Firm Faith’s ninth offering.

theater in Harare.

The album features Foster Triplets – Malaika, Mahari, and Mikaili- a popular Jamaican gospel music outfit.

The outfit is well respected in Christian spaces – having performed at larger audiences globally.

In an interview, Firm Faith music director Marshal Matsilele, said collaborating with other singers, especially international ones, will help them to break new grounds, push boundaries, and create something truly special.

He said working with others brings new ideas, perspectives, and approaches fostering artistic growth.

“Collaborations provide opportunities to learn from others, experiences and at the same time increasing exposure.

“On this project we are guaranteed that we will have access to new audiences, we have created a new fan base, and our music is now exposed to new listeners.

“This is in line with our sole mandate, which is to spread and reach everyone with the gospel, especially the second coming of Jesus Christ message,” said Matsilele.

Matsilele added:

“With many gospel artistes and groups adopting a ‘secular sound’, our aim is to prayerfully select the songs we deliver and the groups and individuals that we work with to ensure that our messages will always speak to the heart of millions of our listeners.

“We believe that as ministers, we have to be careful with music because it is a very powerful tool.

“Music that we create and sing is heavily influenced by the Bible and Bible alone (Sola scriptura).

“We do this with the purpose of ‘preserving’ the heritage and promoting the future of true gospel music.”

Matsilele said on this album they have worked with the Foster Sisters and penial Tambama among other like-minded singers.

“Tracks on album include “Nyika Ichaguma”, “Munesimba”, “Jesus Forgive us” , “He touched me”, “Murindi”, “Zuva Richasvika”, “Angiwanaki”, “The king is coming” , and “Handichada”.

Firm Faith has already released two singles that will be on the upcoming album “Ngena Noah” and Murindi.

Firm Faith is an award winning gospel acapella music group that rose to stardom after winning the third edition of “Harare Got Talent” in 2011.

The group comprises of 16 members, who are Marshal Matsilele (music director), Paula Matsilele, Pearmer Tanhara, (programs) Wadzanai Moyo, Primrose Ndlovu, Audrey Mumba, Sharon Muparadzi, Lisa Chinyama, Gilmour Nyabani, Tendekai Mukawu, Anotida Chikandiwa Ndomuda, Theophilus Nyamidzi, Foliana Tshuma
