CITY BRACES FOR ITS BIGGEST BRAAI FEST

SOUTH African dancer and singer Kamo Mphela will be one of the star attractions when Harare hosts its annual braai festival at Old Hararians Sports Club on Saturday.

This is also the month that Germany holds the world-famous Oktoberfest beer festival.

Those who are familiar with the Castle Lager Braai Festival know that it’s an outdoor summer party where there will be a lot of music, eating and drinking.

Mphela will share the stage with top entertainer Winky D, who is a regular at the Castle Braai Festival.

Master H and Saintfloew will also be part of the cast of artists expected to entertain the huge crowd which always comes to the festival.

Saintfloew is promoting his new album, which launched last Saturday, on the other side of Milton Park at Alex Sports Club.

“Castle Braai Fest, let’s link up, pachapisa. I am ready!” said Saintfloew.

Master H shared the same excitement.

“You know di tingalready, the Castle Braai Festival is happening on October 19 at Old Hararians.

“I am going to be sharing the stage with Kamo Mphela, Saintloew and Winky D, it’s going to be hot,” said Master H.

Top emcee Etherton B, Dj L Roy, Dj Irvine and Dj Toxy Gen have also been roped in to provide cover at the event.

Organisers have lined up various activities and are anticipating a huge crowd.

“It’s all systems go for this year’s edition of the Castle Lager Braai Fest at Old Hararians, and we are inviting all our consumers from across the country to be part of the event.

“It’s all about braaing, listening to good music and enjoying the best beer,” said Delta Lagers marketing manager, Kundai Mawema.

Early bird tickets are going for US$15 while last-minute tickets will cost US$20 at the gate.

Gates open at 10am.
