MAGAYA OR KING PETER?. . . Duo dominates responses on blogger’s post

A FACEBOOK post by sports journalist and blogger, Yvonne Mangunda, to try and gauge the mood among her followers as to who they want to be the next ZIFA president has turned into a straight shootout between Peter Ndlovu and Prophet Walter Magaya.

Mangunda provided her followers with a list of five candidates – Wangu Mazodze, Ellen Chiwenga, Marshall Gore, Magaya and Ndlovu – from which to choose the person they want to be the next ZIFA boss.

“Hypothetically, who would you choose? One munhu, vasina O-Level muchavaona nekunyora…please no paragraghs, hypothetically means pretend it is happening.

“A way that is imagined or suggested but not necessarily real or true.”

The post had attracted more than 1 700 comments by late yesterday.

The majority of respondents went for either Ndlovu or Magaya.

Others even suggested that the two should form a tag team which will see one of them being ZIFA president while the other would come in as vice-president.

There was virtually little or no support for the other three candidates.
